Hi,
I was finally able to duplicate this on a spreadsheet. I normally just use
arrow navigation to work within Numbers spreadsheets, so, in fact, this problem
does not occur. As Jonathan mentioned, if you are using VO-arrow key to
navigate around the spreadsheet, then you'll need to press VO-
Hello,
I believe if you are navigating using the VoiceOver navigation keys you must
use vo-space to select a cell before typing in it.
Best of Luck!

Hi,
Two additional thing:
1. Do you have the TrackPad commander turned on or off?
. Do you have QuickNav enabled?

Brand new simple spreadsheet just one sheet. For example some times I go to
type in say B12 and I type Brian and then have to VO shift up to go to next
cell. Other times I type Brian in B12 and do not have to stop interacting to
get to next cell but then I notice instead of typing in B12 Brian h
Hi,
Is this a brand new spreadsheet or one that you've been working on for a while?
Is it one with multiple sheets or tables?

The only thing I can think of off the top of my head is make sure you don’t
have any filters active. If you’re doing any filtering you can’t type in there.
Turn off the filtering and you should be able to.

Hey all, Just spoke to Apple Accessibility and we figured it out together
definitely messed up, as if you want to type in the A rows you need to VO space
bar then type and do not stop interacting to get out of the cell which you do
have to d in the rest of the spread sheet. Very confusing but we
Hey All,
Not sure if this is device specific. I am running the latest build of High
Sierra and Numbers. And Numbers will not allow me to type anything in the
Column header rows. I am talking about the first row going down vertically.
Anyone else having this issue? Thanks,
