Hi, I was finally able to duplicate this on a spreadsheet. I normally just use arrow navigation to work within Numbers spreadsheets, so, in fact, this problem does not occur. As Jonathan mentioned, if you are using VO-arrow key to navigate around the spreadsheet, then you'll need to press VO-space in that one column in order to enter data. This seems to be the case only for the A column, but not the #1 row, which is also a Header in a default creation of a spreadsheet. In my testing, the VO-space was not needed for the other non-header cells either. Alternatively, if you have cursors following each other, and you simply use arrow navigation without the VO keys, then you are free to enter data in any cell whether it is a header column, header row or just a regular cell. I'm not sure why this happens, and have not tested if I were to add multiple Header columns if the problem would persist. So, by using simple arrow navigation as opposed to VO-arrow navigation should make life easier within the Numbers spreadsheet.
