I’ve never had any Mac other than a Mac mini. I haven’t tried to use my iPhone
as a camera or mic yet but I’m considering trying it. the only thing I have to
offer is that I successfully used a pair of After Shockz headphones as a Mic.

I prefer using AirPods.
Can’t comment on using an iPhone as a camera and mic, but you can always try it
yourself.
Logitech sells some good HD webcams for about $100, that have a place for a
tripod mount.

If you’re going for something with a speaker, don’t get the Mac Mini. The
speaker is good for when you need to hear VO in a pinch but otherwise, no. I’ve
not used the phone as a Mic, but I did try the camera. The angle was tricky and
I gave it up as they were seeing my nose. But I did not have a

I am in the need of a new iMac, But my wallet is saying I need to get the Mac
Mini M4.
So, How good is the built in speaker?
And have any of you ever used your iPhone as a camera & Microphone for apps
such as Zoom or Quick time?
