MoveAddict lets you cut and paste files and folders in Finder in order to move
them to other locations, which is something that you can't do in the basic GUI,
although you can copy and paste, then delete. If you don't need this function,

I don't know if anyone had this problem, but if your app store version of
Moveaddict did not come with a preferences app, this file should get your
Moveaddict working. All I needed to do was run this app, configure any
preferences I wished, and cut and paste to my heart's content

I didn't get a dmg when I installed MoveAddict. I just got one .app file in my
Applications folder. When I run it, MoveAddict crashes. Any suggestions?

I now have it working, though after what amounted to three installs I could
have sure done a lot of copying and deleting and saved the five bucks :)
I initially attempted to follow Esther's instructions, but cut had no affect.
I then hid MoveAddict from

Double click on the "moveAddict Preferences.app" that came in the folder named
"Accessibility" when you downloaded and opened the MovedAddict.dmg disk image
to install the app. This should let you bring up a preferences pane for the app

not on one list.
What I do:
I set cursortracking off,
I go to the first object,
I press vo+command+space
I do down/up with the arrow-keys and I press vo+command+space to select the
right item.
I repeat this

Moveaddict will fix this also by giving some windows-alike options.
Moveaddict should be perfect if it should simulate a real drag and drop with
command+x and command+c but I think it doesn't :(

Yep because none of the menu icons work in mac osx. But he made it so that
preferences hot keys etc can be seen, and the application works straight from
install, as well as with growl if you need to know when you are and how many
files you are cutting
