Hi Ricardo,
Yes it can run in the background.
The way I use it is to launch it from the doc when I need it then go
back to the doc and un check start up at log in.
It's kind of clunky but it works!
What I do not like about it is when you cut something per-say it jumps
back in to the moveaddict window and says "moveaddict has no windows".
At this point I navigate back to the desk top or where ever I want to
paste the thing I am moving and it works fine.
with this current behavior of this version of "moveaddict" thats why I
quit it after doing my moving.
FYI it checks it self to launch at start up after using it.
Thats why I go back to the doc and un check it!
May be they will take care of it in the next version!

Hi,
I think the app just runs in the background on start up. I do think
it needs to be on though but I'm not sure. I agree that this
function should be in the OS natively but, its not. So people have
filled the void.

Is it necessary to have this app running any time you want to
perform a cut and paste? I can't tell from the description.
Seems like a useful app, but one that creates functionality that
probably should have been there to begin with.

Hmm,
I just bought this app after reading your post and it works just
as advertised for me. I'm able to cut and paste with no
problems. I didn't even need to do a restart.

Hi all,
I have just installed moveaddict from the app store on the mac to
cut files and folders with command+x.
I have just installed the program, I answered some questions of
the setup and it should work normally.
If it shouldn't , they advices me to restart the system.
I have done so but, command+x isn't still working in the finder.
They spoke also about a new button with properties features but
I can't find.
Are here some people with experiences or suggestions for this
program?
thx for your answer,
William
