I just recently found myself needing such a thing and found Vienna. Seems to be
pretty accessible, but I haven’t played with it a bunch.

I’ve been using the old readers website. It is easy to navigate, read & mark
items, as well as share them.
Since I’m using Feeddler Pro on my iPhone with the old reader, everything is in
sync.
I navigate the old reader’s website with headings & item chooser. If one of my

For my RSS needs, at the moment I’m using shrook. It’s free and pretty
accessible once you figure out how to navigate it. Basically, you want to use
the keyboard, not VO focus to use it. The interface is kind of like a tree, and
has 4 areas you’ll really be using. The first is a table with folder

Yeah, it's a bit odd and annoying. I think some of the syncing services allow
you to add subscriptions through an RSS client, but FeedWrangler which I use
doesn't allow it yet.

Thanks for the response. It is odd that there is an option to add a
subscription, but it is unavailable. I am really hoping that Lire adds syncing
support; I sent them an email today asking about it, so hopefully something
will happen soon.

Another good, open source, free RSS reader for the Mac is Vienna. I use it and
it syncs with open reader services such as The Old Reader and Bazqux. It is
very good.

Thank you for the tip! I'm glad you told us the sale was happening - I just got
the app and am trying it now. There are a lot of unlabeled buttons, but they
all have help tags. The only thing is, Lire on iOS does not sync anywhere, so

If you are looking to sync across iPhones, iPads, etc than Newsify is

I'd love to find one as well, but I'd need it to sync across devices. My iOS
favorite is Lire, but that has no syncing support as of yet. If syncing isn't
important to you, though, give Luck News (it may be one word) a try. I haven't
used it much, but it is free and seems pretty accessible.

Hi folks,
The subject says it all. I’m looking for something to replace NewsRack.
