I’ve been using the old readers website. It is easy to navigate, read & mark
items, as well as share them.

Since I’m using Feeddler Pro on my iPhone with the old reader, everything is in
sync.

I navigate the old reader’s website with headings & item chooser. If one of my
feeds has several articles, say over 100, Safari will say busy for a handful of
seconds, but it is doable. :) Works the best for me right now.
