Yeah, it’s kind of weird how it seems to work. You have to VO-space on the
result you want and then there are a couple of levels of interaction involved.
Ultimately, I tab to the button that either contains the price or the Get
button to install the app.

I was right. It was in the drag and drop part. Mouse tracking was on
when it should not ahve been. Fixed that and installed the app. Now I am

Hi,
So, if the Drag & Drop worked, then you should be able to close the window
you're in. Then, press cmd-shift-a which will open the Applications folder.
Once in the Applications folder, navigate through until you locate the app that
you drug over. If it is there, land on it, then press cm

Tim,
Regardless of how I do it, I end up at the installer window. There
are 3 buttons in the group. The app itself, the app folder and the
uninstall button. I drag the app to the folder and drop it...I think.
This is where I am stuck.

Hi,
It all depends on the app you're installing. In the case of these kinds of
apps that you drag or copy to the Applications folder, all that usually needs
done is opening the app after the copy. So, once you've placed the app in your
Applications folder, select it from within that folder an
After uninstalling the app, I am now trying to install it. I must be
missing a step tho. I open the installer, it brings up the window where
I drag the app to the app folder. This is where I cannot figure what the
next step is. I know I should get another dialog that has the install

Hi,
If you run the updates from the Purchased Items window of the AppStore (cmd-4),
it may list older updates that aren’t necessary along with the newer ones.
When running Software Update from the Apple menu or the Updates window of the

Hi all,
I just downloaded the vlc media player. The instructions in the read me file
say you are suppose to drag and drop the .app file to the folder where you want
to put it. I know there is a drag and drop process for voiceover, and I'd
rather not go there just yet, as a rather new Mac user. C
