Yes that is what I thought. Hense my contention that VO+U is more powerful
because of being able to drill down to elements with specific characters.

I’m not sure I understand what you’re asking. When accessing the rotor using
VO-Cmd-Arrow keys, you can’t type anything. You just navigate through the
headings, links, etc.

I do the same as you, but if I don’t know the type of element I’m looking for,
I use VO-i (the item chooser) and type a few letters. I’m also starting to use
the new facility of VO-Cmd-Arrow keys to navigate by rotor setting.
