Hello,
My biggest issue with chrome is that typing echo does not work. As I type it
will not echo the characters or the words. The only way I can hear what I typed
is to backspace over it. Is there a way to have VoiceOver echo characters or
words in chrome?

Hi Erik,
When in Chrome on the Mac, do the following:
• press cmd-l to bring focus to the Address bar.
• enter "chrome://settings/system/" (without the quotes, of course) then press
return.
• press VO-i to bring up the Item Chooser.
• type "acceleration"
The choice that comes up should be to us
Hi Desmond.
I love chrome. I used it across Mac, windows and android where it served
extraordinarily well, synchronized my bookmarks and other amenities, and
was decent for at least the basics of web development.

I don’t like using Chrome on my Mac. Aside from the security issues, it is a
tremendous resource hog.

Hi folks.
for anyone using chrome, it appears that you can't use vo+J to jump
around in chrome.
And it keeps reading the webpage out, even though I have it turned off
in VO utilities.

Hi,
It appears that a dialog is being generated that wants you to agree to Google’s
Terms of Service before the download can begin. I’ll try searching around the
page to see if Safari and VO are seeing it, but here’s a link that may get you
past that for now:

I have been having the same problem for months. I press return but the
download of Chrome does not happen. In fact Safari goes nuts with the "busy

Hi!
No its not.
I use google chrome most of the time but it has a few glitches.
Chromevox is not to think of for me as i don’t think it supports swedish.
Safari is crap because it makes my fan go wild.
Nothing helps including smc and pram reset.

Hi,
I just Google "chrome for mac" and the first link under search results gets you
where you want to be. The link is google.com/chrome. Once there, there's a link
