Though what you said about podcast episode horder sounds about right – I think
I'm the same. What I've found is that the idea that one day I'll eventually
have enough time to listen to them is a bit of a fairy
ter, and I have to rest my computer. I did speak to
the developer and he told me there would be an update coming out that would fix
the Downcast problem of totally freezing up ones computer. Not sure if it
happens to me because my iMac is older and maybe I don't have enough RAM to

Yes, I had tried removing it from the app switcher, and just said the heck with
it I deleted the app and reinstall it and it is working fine again, just hate
losing a bunch of podcasts I would have eventually liked to listen to . Oh
well. I think I am becoming a podcast episode hoarder.

I've lost my sounds since updating to the latest version of Downcast. Have you
tried removing it from the app switcher? I'm not having your problems but
suspect they've broken something in the update.
