If daisypod was daisybox, written for rockbox, it would work on
several mp3 players.
Maybe that's what's wanted?

I can tell you that there will be no further developement to Daisypod
unless we receive some additional support from some community members
which is loooking unlikely. It is because there is particular
incriptions on the newer IPods. This prevents the plugin feature from

Unless you have some kind of contact with Apple this will not happen
without their help. The accessible iPod Nanos have no means of
supporting software other than those made by Apple and the iPod Touch
Considdering that the talking nanoes don't have a sdk and that the
touch is in accessable, i'm not so sure how this would work.
Unless your going to make everyone flash there devices to rockbox?

dedicated volunteers step forward but I was thinking about developing
a daisy talking book extention for the IPod series of devices. This
would let Apple IPod users have the same access as Victor Stream users
to play audio
