Hi,
If you don’t have the CapsLock key set as a VO modifier key, you can use the
CapsLock key to stop VO.

I have the Siri Female and I have the same issue where control will stop VO.
Strictly a Big Sur issue.

As a matter of interest. When VO was first introduced, pressing ctrl once
paused VO speech, then pressing a second time would restart speech. Performing
a quick double-press of the ctrl would stop speech. I’m pretty sure that the
double-press action has been deprecated. So, I’m guessing

Seems like I need to tap the control key more than once to completely stop VO
at times. It’s a hit-or-miss proposition.
