Hi,
I can reccommend the Plantronics Voyager Legend or, and this is a really smal
nice one, the Plantronics M155. Both support VoiceOver and music and they are
single ear headsets.
All the best

Well, there are several factors to consider.
First, the headset must support the A2DP (AADP) profile. This profile is the
stereo music channel, so almost all stereo bluetooth headsets support it. If
the headset states it plays music, whether single ear or both ears, it most
probably supports A2

Hi Christina,
I've had very good luck with the Arctic p311 headset . It can pair
automatically.
There are also audible tones that will let you know when it is connecting or
when the battery is too low.
Hope that helps.

I'm buying the headset next week and will try with my I Mac. I will then report

HI Ricardo,
Have you actually used bluetooth headsets with VoiceOver like this successfully
or are you just talking in theory at the moment?
If this worked, it would be some improvement at least, but not a complete
solution. One of the reasons I want a bluetooth headset is so I can hear

Hello,
For those using BT headsets on their Macs, something that might help in this
situation is to go into Voiceover utility, under sound, and make sure Voiceover
output is set to default output. Sometimes, I've seen this setting set to the

Hi all,
Phil, have you actually tried them with the Mac? Can you turn them off and then
on again without losing VoiceOver?
I've asked this question elsewhere on this list but never seem to get an
answer. All my bluetooth headsets which work fine with VoiceOver on iOS have
problems on the Mac.

Just wishing to know if anyone has used the new After shoks Bluetooth headsets?
My ears are too small for an conventional bluetooth headset so would like to

Marry,
It works with voice over. My wife got it from the apple store. She checked that
it would work on my Mac mini and that it worked with voice over.

I looked up this plantronics m100, but it looks like it does not include a2dp.
I understood that one needed that in order to hear voiceover. Perhaps I missed
it, but I did look on two different websites of vendors who carry this product,
and the description for the m100 didn't reference a2dp.

You know I have not tried this in a good while, but one thing that may
or may not have a role in this and might explain why it works with
iTunes and not VoiceOver is this. Music is a constant stream of audio
where VoiceOver is not. Now with this said and based only on my

Hi there, according to apple insider an article was posted about the
proposed changes in 10.57 that were to attempt to address bluetooth

The success or lack there of is still up in the air, however the
article had stated that this was being worked on.
