Moving the same license over from a virtual machine? Hmm...maybe I'll give
that a shot if it comes to that. Thanks for the advice, Paul.

Thanks Paul,
It's interesting you should say that because my system does seem to get really
hot when I'm working with k1000. It's really the only thing I do in windows on
my Mac actually. If there was a native Mac reading solution on par with k1000
i would make a total switch from the pc world

Hi all,
Woke up to a very weird problem this morning. I'm not getting any sound
out of the speakers on my MBP. I can hear a very quiet voice with
voiceover when volume is maxed out, but I'm straining to hear it. There is
no problem whatsoever when I plug in the headphones, or when I reboot the
Hi all,
I have a few questions about setting up a bootcamp and/or virtual PC (either VM
fusion or parallels), and was hoping for some input. I realize that much of
this has been discussed before, but I'm still confused about setting these up -
my apologies for the repetition.
For bootcamp, do

Hi all,
Over the weekend I picked up a MacBook Pro, thanks in large part to the
words of wisdom and advice coming from this listserv. A big thanks to
everyone for just being here to help us Mac-Noobs when we're trying to
figure everything out.
And now for an insanely frustrating problem I'm enco
Thanks for clarifying that Anne.

Hi again,
@ Anne: thanks for that bug info. It's unfortunate that Apple doesn't seem
to be doing anything at the moment, because I could see that getting quite
annoying. But ah well...nothing in life is perfect.
@ Eugenia: No, you didn't misunderstand anything. All this information is
great, a
I reiterate my thanks for such awesome info. If I do go ahead and take the
plunge into the Mac world, this info on Fusion and Parallel's will be very
useful. I'm assuming that either Parallel's or Fusion should allow me to
run things like ZT, JFW, or K1000 alongside the Mac environment?

Thanks for the feedback so quickly!
@ Eugenia - thanks for the tips! I actually hadn't thought about porting
.pdf's onto my iphone for reading, but that could be very useful for
catching up on reading when on the bus or travelling. I will have to
experiment some.
@ Chris - I had heard about Boo
