I think my last post on this wasn’t clear. When I used finder with Yosemite
“all my files” was one of the options in the sidebar. Since I upgraded to El
Capitan I no longer see this option. How do I search to get my files listed?

“all my files gone”I don’t see “All my files since I upgraded to El Capitan. I
had a number of recipes I can no longer find. Is there something I’m doing
wrong? I do see “favorites” when looking in finder.

How does one update? I didn’t see an update selection in the menu; unless, I
missed it .

I called disability support and learned it didn’t finish downloading. It’s
taking it’s own sweet time. The key combination for the application chooser is
the function key +vo + F1 F1. Right now it’s at about 77%. That is why nothing
happened when I clicked on it in the apps folder.

I am in the process of emptying the trash. I only have a CD player plugged into
my computer. I don’t have an external hard drive.

the same result. I did not get any dialog box when I clicked on the El Capitan
app.
