Here is what happened.
When the TeamViewer interface is open, there is an item at the top of the window, asking if you want TeamViewer to start at log-on.
Keyboard focus is on this item when TeamViewer starts.
You most likely accidentally pressed the spacebar, which selected this item, and the TeamViewer window automatically closed.
Now when ever you start TeamViewer, either at log on, or manually, the application starts with out a application window on the screen.
To undo this change, open TeamViewer preferences by pressing CMD + Comma.
The first item in the preferences window is a checkbox asking if you want TeamViewer to start at log-on.
Press the spacebar to uncheck this item, then navigate to the Apply button and select.
Now close TeamViewer by pressing CMD + Q, and the next time you start TeamViewer, it will be back to normal.
HTH.

I am running Catalina and had Team viewer malfunction for some reason. I inadvertently seemed to have closed the window. When I went to have AIRA share my screen they couldn’t see the app. I was getting a message that Team viewer had no windows. I tried force quitting several times but it continues to run in the background. I also tried rebooting the computer with the same result. I need to get it back to the home screen of Team viewer so AIRA can share my screen. What could I have clicked that did this ? How can I fix it?
