We just got the Ecobee 4. The thermostat works with HomeKit, and allows the
use of room sensors, unlike the nest. The app isn’t the greatest, but once you
have it set up with HomeKit, you don’t really need the app for that much.

end and have them go across to your other devices. Just another option to
