Hey Paul

Don't know if this will help but have you tried deleting the account in mail.
Then when you go to add the account again, choose other?

I've recently had a problem where apple mail wouldn't add my bt email account
via the default Yahoo settings and I was at the point of giving up and going to
ring up bt and explain what was happening. So as a last attempt, I selected the
other option when setting up the account and that for some strange reason,
worked.

Might be worth ago. Also like you, the default Yahoo settings worked on my ios
devices. Weird a?

Hope you can get it sorted!
