Hello everyone.
I would like to thank those who have contributed to the thread on the extension
for the transformer that came with my late 2011 Macbook Pro.
Since I did not buy the computer from Apple directly in the first place, I
don't think I can trade it in. In any case, I have not bought a

Evening everyone.
I have a late 2011 13 inch Macbook Pro, as you may or may not know. This of
course comes with the old charger where the transformer comes with an
extension. My concern is I appear to require the extension in order to charge
this mac. Is this correct? If not, should I be concer

Afternoon everyone. Hope we find you well.
I am personally writing to announce Hannah has now received her first ever mac
yesterday as part of our "Christmas Day". Anyway, she's fallen in love with it
straight away, and all it needed was using VoiceOver's built in tutorial to get
her started. S
Not here, same mac as you, try doing a clean install.

Hi
How do I create a recovery partition just in case my girlfriend's new mac won't
have one? I never knew you had to create one in the first instance, since mine
came with one for Lion and presumably got updated as each new major OS update
was released. Correct? Anyway thanks for any responses.
I don't think it can be done, or it wasn't when I last used Bootcamp Assistant
which was in my early days of the mac. I now simply use a VM.

Hi
Don't know, but do know single user mode is not accessible because VoiceOver is
not loaded in this mode. There might be a way in recovery mode to manage a
locked account. For example in Terminal you can type
resetpassword
press return and you can reset the password for the local account.

Yes. I use Type2Phone although I do not have it on this mac yet.

Well yes, actually it's the case as of today. Apple has done away with spinning
drives on all their current macs, according to the Apple Store itself. Oh,
maybe not on their line of desktops but definitely on their line of laptop and
notebook computers.

Evening everyone.
So it's 30 days before my girlfriend will receive her first ever mac as a
Christmas present. Better early than never this time round. You will see why
below.
Once her early 2015 13 inch Macbook Pro has been updated to macOS Sierra
10.12.1 and has been configured to her liking
