I will try to answer this question for Anne.
The 7th and 8th dots are used as prefixes for capital letters and
number signs in a regular 6 dot braille.
In order to indicate that the letter is capital you use the 7th dot.
In order to say that some dot pattern is a number you use 8th dot in a

with Xcode which is part of the Leopard it is possible to localize
almost entire VO utility. I mean dialog boxes, menus etc. I would like
to know if somebody has some experiences where are located other
things like braille conversion tables or the strings being spoken by
the synthesizer. I
