This seems to be a bug that doesn’t effect everyone.
I had no issue when setting up my iPhone 16 Pro, but did experience this issue
when setting up my wife’s iPhone 16.

Pete,
Something that may help you in learning your new iPhone 16 Pro, is a podcast
Jonathan Mosen did on unboxing and setup of his new iPhone X, which was the
first iPhone that did not have a Home Button.
In this podcast, Jonathan goes over setting up the iPhone X, and learning the
new gestures
This sounds like the problem I’m having on both my iPhone 16 Pro Max and iPhone 13 Pro Max, both of which are running iOS 18.0. I have not yet updated to 18.01.From a shutdown, activating the phone does not give me a way to enter the passcode if VoiceOver is on. The only way I can do this is to tur
Put one finger at the bottom center edge of the screen. You should hear a slight pop. Now drag that single finger up to about the 1/3 point of the screen. You should hear another slight pop. Lift your finger. You should now have the keypad for entering your passcode.- Brad -On Oct 7, 2024, at 17:59
OK I’m getting there I think. I’ve restored my 16 Pro from a backup of my 3rd
gen SE. Now, only thing I can’t seem to do is get the srequired swipe gestures
to work for unlocking the phone. Raising the phone does wake it up and I get
the unlock screen, and I can get to a point where I can get V
Hello,
In Apple Music on the Mac, I wish to add a 2nd genre to some songs
that are in albums. How would I accomplish this? Thanks.

May I know the equivalent command in Mac of virtual cursor off in Jaws, how can
I do that in Voiceover, please?
Thanks!

Curious if anyone else has run across this?
Reader mode in Safari. Instead of showing me the webpage, it makes it disappear
and I have to close out the browser. I looked in the menu bar and I noticed
that instead of saying hide reader, it says Show Reader unavailable.
Running the latest Sequoia.
I’m not getting this to work probably because I must not be swiping up
correctly. Is it with one finger or two? And do you swipe from bottom center?

You don’t have to use arrow key navigation to move to “keyboard”.
I just opened System Settings, VOiceOver said I was in the side panel, I then
typed key and VOiceOver said Keyboard.
Hope this helps folks!

Try hitting the lock screen button. For me at least, that has bypassed that
from the start. If that does not work, then double tap anywhere on the screen
and that should take you to the next window. You can confirm the language from
that screen.

It doesn’t have to stop on English.
Just swipe up, and it will be on English no matter what language the Hello
screen is speaking.

I've turned on my iPhone 16 Pro and activated Voiceover. I tapped OK on the
announcement of all the gestures, but now I can't get past the Hello screen!
It's telling me to swipe up with one finger to open, but I can't get it

This is not correct.
In macOS System Settings, Keyboard is not located within General, like on iOS.
In both macOS Sonoma (which is what Lori is now running), and Sequoia, Keyboard
is on the same level as General, and in the System Settings sidebar, is located
below Wallet and ApplePay.

They haven't been phones for like ever. Put one single piece of
non-telephone-call-related software on a device that was built to make
phone calls, and it's not a telephone any more. Maybe putting a clock on
a telephone is going a little overboard in that judgment because it's
common to want to

Hi Lorie,
When in System Settings, go to the View menu. After the first few items,
everything is in alphabetical order and Keyboard is one of the items.
