Hi Lori, Wayne another device is trying to sign into your iCloud, it will send
a verification code to Eva that phone number or send you a push notification.
Once you receive the push notification on the new device that you're trying to
sign in on, it will ask you for that code. After you put in
another question, I seem to have set up 2factor authentication accidentally.
this doesn't surprise me as I know this is what Apple wants. it used my cell
phone number which is ok. how does this work if I need to use it?
thanks.

I just installed Monterey and I notice that there are some differences in Apple
mail. I can only find 1 inbox but I have 2 mail accounts. vo doesn't say the
name of the inbox as it used to. I'm not sure they're together. I think I just
can't find iCloud. how does this work?
thanks.

Not sure that a new machine would be any better. I am debating on whether or
not to upgrade the current OS (Catalina) to the next in line. That might take
care of the Kernel crash issues.

I don’t see how having the OneDrive icon in the dock would prevent you from
closing the OneDrive folder window.
I set my own OneDrive preferences to keep the OneDrive icon in the dock, and
had no problem closing the OneDrive folder window just like any other Finder
window.

Hi Brad,
I looked at the OneDrive preferences again and did not found any option which I
thought would change my window problem. I then tried the option to hide the
icon to the dock… and gone was the window.
I am glad I tried it, but it still doesn’t sound very obvious to me this option

No issues when using my iOS device. Just the Mac.
My internet is AT&T Fiber, so I doubt that could be the source of the issue.

I do not understand the issue. I never have a OneDrive window that is always

Perhaps you should take a look at your settings for the OneDrive app, and see

I don’t want to disable OneDrive alltogether but only the OneDrive window. I
don’t want an extra window, which imo is not needed and not present on Windows
systems.
Thanks,
