I use sonos from my tv and it works great with my apple tv 4K The play bar plugs in to my tv using an optical cable and then the apple tv plugs in to the Samsung tv using HDMI and the tv directs the audio through the sonos play bar and associated sonos speakers. No issues what so ever -Ori
