This has come up before, but it has been a few months, so I’ll ask again in case something new and beter has come up. As we know, some sound systems do not work well with Voiceover because of the way they process HDMI input. I have been putting up with such a system for a while now. I bought a replacement, foolishly assuming that a new system from a reputable brand would be fine. FYI, the JBL Bar 3.1 is not such a system. In fact it’s rather glitchy overall. It may get beter after a software update or two, but right now I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. I’ve got an email out to customer support, but I do not expect that to come to much. I did the same thing with the RCA system and the technician didn’t even know what Apple TV was. The trouble with first level support is that if they are any good they get promoted.
So, if you have a good system that works well with VO on Apple TV, I’d like to know about it. I’m looking at sound bars because my wife wants to get rid of the wares running up the wall to the satelites.
