Formatting the disc will cause me to lose the data. However, there is no date
on it really to lose. It is brand-new and I really have not done anything with
it. The stream populated it with some folders but that is it.

If your card is 64 then its an SDXC card which Sabbahattin says is
not supported by the stream. So you are limited to SDHC which maxes out
at 32gigs.

What was the card used with? Yes always use an adapter when using
microSD.
When in disk utility, are you seeing the card at all? The capacity
in Get Info will always be less than the card's stated capacity. The
difference is the space used when the card is formatted.

version as it’s too expensive for me and I have no use for it except for
