i just turned it all the way up and had voiceover read the screen and, no, it did not distort. but, with that being said, i don’t like to blast my little phone speaker. it’s not really meant for high volume. when i first got it, i was thinking that it did not sound as good as the 6 but, i am used to it now and it doesn’t sound bad at all. i am using samantha compact as well which makes it not sound great but, i like it better.
