Realstrat is really good for electric stuff both clean an overdriven, but

Shift + Space. Enter or VO + Space doesn't work. Do you experience the same?

Yes, that's an annoying bug in Yosemite. You have to interact with the
Recipients table, then find the iPad in there. Once you're on it, route the
mouse there with vo-cmd-f5, then click with the actual mouse or vo-shift-space.
