Hi everyone.
In iTunes 10, I was able to find the scroll area for my iPhone, and there was a
checkbox that says sink only selected ring tones.
However, an iTunes 11, that scroll area is gone.
Is there a way to get the scroll area back? I have new ring tones I want to
sync to my phone, and I can'
Actually, the issue is that I am unable to exit out of spell check. Both the

How do those work, and what exactly are they? I unfortunately don't know much
about things of that nature so would love some more info.

Hi everyone, which one of these two boxes is best for us to use as visually
impaired and blind individuals? Just curious what everyone's opinion would be
on these two boxes. Thanks a lot, John

Well I've got it to work with the help from the list. Only problem I can't
control iTunes from my shed. I will have to think of some way of boosting the
signal. Great from the rest of the house.

It's also useful if you are playing music through your computer, but
are not right at the keyboard, or maybe you're in another application
and it's just more convenient to hit "next" on your phone or iPod than
to switch out of what you are doing to change the song or select a new
playlist.

Did you try exiting out of spell check, going directly to the very top of the
text then reentering spell check again? That is the ohly way I know of doing
it.

Just to offer another option, one does not have to purchase a new TV to be
able to use the Apple TV. One can simply purchase an HDMI to standard video
convertor. It is a small box which contains an HDMI input and RCA type
output jacks and last I checked, sold for somewhere in the $60 range.

Hi Pam,
The app is just called Remote and it is developed by Apple themselves. I use
it when I have iTunes playing through Airplay to either of the sound systems in
our house. If I don't feel like the song that is playing, I can skip to the

The app is called simply remote and is made by apple. It is useful, say, if you
wanted to play music over a home theater but did not want to hear VoiceOver as
you changed songs or other aspects of playback.

Hi folks,
Please forgive my ignorance. What is the name of the remote app in question?
Also, how does controlling itunes from your iphone differ from controlling it
on your computer? What is to be gained?

Hi,
It all works through your network. I may be mistaken but I don't believe that
you are required to enter codes anymore. The only thing that you may need to
do is to make sure that both your iPhone and the Mac have Home Sharing turned
on.

Hi Max.
Yes, it's very possible.
Download the remote application made by apple. It will prompt you to type in a
code on the amc and then you can control the mac with your phone with iTunes.
I use this quite frequently, it works like a charm.
THanks.

Thanks for any help.

Subject: Re: creating smart playlists with the new iTunes.
Hi,
Hi there!
OK you can also add to a named playlist by opening VO+shift+m then arrow to add
to playlist sub menu and when you find the name of the playlist you wish to add
to just VO+space or I think Enter!
And the track will go into that list!

Hi,
So, if you wish to use the Copy/Paste method to populate your Playlist, then
when you create the new playlist, simply press cmd-n to do this, then copy and
paste your items into it. Do not use any of the Smart Playlists that you've
created. You can tell whether a playlist is Smart or regu
Well, I always chose the "new smart playlist," option, in order to burn items

things, then when I inserted a blank disk, it allowed me, of
Hi,
First, we need to distinguish between Smart and regular playlists. In your
original post, you questioned about copying to a Smart Playlist. This is just
not possible in any version of iTunes. A Smart Playlist is populated using
matching criteria and thus items are placed in the Smart Pla

First of all, I'm going to assume you're speaking about iTunes on the Mac,
