OK, just tried it again. Used search to find Windows Anytime Upgrade.
Started it, it said before you can upgrade you need to activate the edition
of Windows your computer is currently running.
How do I get around this to do the "repair" upgrade I need to do before I
can activate with my upgrade
So my mistake is that there must be some way to do the anytime upgrade and
do the repair/install, and then enter my activation code sometime after I
have done the upgrade? Will it take the code then without saying you have
to activate first?

one could assume that this number can be used by any apple user throughout the
world. the only downside for those of us in the UK is the cost of that

My current Internet plan claims to provide a speed of 2 MB per second.
However, I find it extremely frustrating to watch any video on YouTube,

Yes I do. Make sure fetch data is either set to push or a fixed
schedule, such as every 15 minutes. Off means don't push and don't check
regularly as well.
