Help! I was working on a file and it got corrupted. I'm a dope and
obliterated all other traces because it was a huge file. Are there any
accessible data recovery tools for the mac that could potentially rescue the
original file from the flash card? I am not expecting it to do this for free.
How did you get computer braille to work? I only saw two choices, unless they
were added later and I didn't see it. The English Braille choices I saw were
contracted and uncontracted, which on my display is showing as grade one and
grade 2.

Since I found a free one in the App store, I tried it and it is accessible. It
is called Howler. It is very easy to use. You just put the
hours/minutes/seconds into the edit boxes and activate the "start" button.

person at Apple who has worked with me. I didn't even know about the other one.
I know I'm fairly new, but is your VoiceOver set for to interact when tab is
pressed? Maybe changing that would help.

I noticed that VoiceOver seems to talk more than I'm used to, I guess because
of saving the file when you make changes. I thought about turning off this
feature, and I'm glad I didn't. It saved me more than once when I messed up my
file and then proceeded to save out the bad changes.

I know if my MBP did all that, I would try to get myself a Genius appointment
at the Apple store. That's what they call them, and that's when a tech person
takes a look at your computer. I did that once for my iPhone, but it turned out
simple, and in my case, something I did.

You can do a google search for Dashboard Widgets for OS10 and you'll find scads
of them. However, some of them, even some of the ones included with OS10, are
not VO friendly, unfortunately.

discard its current state of its windows. Next time you open this app, it won't

To add to this, if the sorting is by name but it is in reverse order, you can
correct that by clicking the column header for name, with the mouse. We,
voiceover users, have a shortcut to do the same thing. Moving the vo cursor to
the column to reverse, you then press vo shift backslash.
I mapped my forward slash key to be the right control key since I don't use the
left one that much, and never use the forward slash key. That's how I avoid
