Hi,
A few days ago I discovered www.takecontrolbooks.com, this is a sort of
tutorial site for mac users where you can buy ebooks in unencrypted pdf
format. They also have two books about garageband 11, recording in gb 11
and making music in gb11, you can find them through their search function.
Mac OS can read NTFS, but it can't write to them. If you want full access to
the drive it needs to be FAT32, although, I've got a 2TB external formatted
FAT32 here so I can share it between mac and windows, and I'm not very happy
with the performance.

In any of the iWork applications, you get to the Inspector with Cmd-Option-i.
If you're using Lion, you get to the list of options by going to first visible

The mac can unzip just fine. All you need to do is hit VO spacebar on the zip

So, say you have a file called book.zip, it ends up as a new folder inside the
current folder, named book, with the zip contents inside it.
