Hi Mary, The .sit files are an old Mac format called Stuffit files. I'm a bit puzzled as to why the disk image file comes with this extension, but you can open these files with "The Unarchiver": http://wakaba.c3.cx/s/apps/unarchiver.html This will handle nearly all the file extension type

If you really mean that the VMs run slowly, then you haven't given them enough memory. It doesn't matter what you've heard about what is possible, XP won't run right in a VM with less than 512MB, and it needs 1GB if you want it to run as well as possible. For Windows 7, 1.5GB is the minimum for
