Since we're talking about programming languages, I thought I would
mention Euphoria. I just started learning about it and it seems easy
to learn. If you download the alpha of version 4, you will be able to
use it on the mac.

I have the files for mono development system on my mac and probably will
get around to building them for use later this summer. A google search on
man vbnc will give you some idea what that's all about. The mono project
web page has the files for anyone interested. A successful build of vbnc

Hello,
I've never moved contacts but I have moved and installed files on my
Nokia n82 from the Mac.
I think there is a plugin for iSync but I don't remember where I read
this. I've been looking for it, but have not been lucky. I was also
told that it didn't work well for VO users.

Really? So a 3gs with VO turned off will activate with a three-finger
double-tap? This is the first I've heard of this in all the stuff I've
rummaged through. Googling around a bit this appears to mute VO, not
turn it on or off. The gestures with VO running are quite different so

Ahh. I was having difficulty with the double-tap where sometimes I ended
up moving focus elsewhere rather than tapping. The split tap was much
more reliable.

Hi Dan and Søren,
When you click the link to verify your subscription, you have to have
a login for a Google account. This got changed because people joined

Hi,
The only iPhone that supports voiceover is the new iPhone G3 S.
If you have an older iPhone G3 or original, it will not be able to
use vo regardless of the version of the OS.

The live broadcast of the iphone 3gs was in ogg format and the
recommended this plugin for QT
http://www.xiph.org/quicktime/download.html
which worked just fine. From checking around it also adds support for
ogg in iTunes. Just download the file and then copy the plugin to
/Library/QuickTime.

WIll that will not work. YOu'll have to wait for a new version of the
hardware that has the capability to run VOiceOver. There just isn't
the horsepower to make this happen on the existing Touch.

this as being inefficient, but there will be a learning curve
initially without a doubt and the extent of that learning curve will
