Hi Søren, Yes, subscribing to this list now requires creating a Google account. However, your friend can read the posts at the Mail Archive for this list at:
http://www.mail-archive.com/macvisionaries%40googlegroups.com/ without subscribing. I wish the list for the iphone had also been set up to be archived at the Mail Archive so that it could be read without a subscription., but I think that has to be done by the moderator. As you know, posts show up at the Mail Archive site about as fast as they do for a subscriber, and you can read the list in either threaded by content or ordered by item with hot keys that work for Safari or for other browsers.
