I want to attend a python workshop which requires the installation of
Anaconda Python, see the info. below.
Since I have already installed python in my Macbook pro through
Macport (see info. below),
I am asking if I still need to install Anaconda Python?
Does this Anaconda
usually create new
ports for any missing packages.

All,
I want to follow the following procedure to restore /opt/local to
previous date from time machine external drive,
but I get “Time Machine” can’t be modified or deleted because it’s
required by macOS." error message after I click "restore" button.

his error I just followed the instructions given in the error
message and did
sudo port -f deactivate libunwind-headers
and retried the installation, and it worked. I think I reactivated
libunwind-headers after installing gcc10
