Has anyone made a memo style?
I have a LaTeX memo style. How can I use something like it in LyX?
Basically it is an add-on package to use with any other, such as
article that defines a \makecover to produce the Subject:, To:, From:
lines at the top of the memo.
I'm quite familiar with latex, but not with lyx (yet). When you say
"replace the usual title commands with the memo commands", exactly how
do I do that?

Basic question. How do I import ascii data into a table?
This small file causes TeX capacity exceeded (on unix - not a small
TeX) when run under LyX - but the same exported TeX file works fine.

I have IEEEtran.layout in /usr/local/share/lyx/layouts - but under
layout/document/class it's not listed. How do I get it?
Thanks.
I'm trying to learn about lyx + noweb. I installed icon and noweb.
It looks like lyx found them OK.
I made a tiny test document with one code fragment. View dvi seems to
work OK. But build program doesn't seem to do anything. No new files
are written - it just says it's done. No error messag
Patch from 1.0.4pre8 -> 1.0.4?
What I'd like to see added to lyx is support for some of the various
amsmath options for multiline equations, such as multline, align,
gather, etc. I know that you can just type in the latex code, but
then it doesn't show any nice display within lyx.
I don't think it's libg++ you want - at least not for STL or
. You need libstdc++ for that.
Any support for a pdflatex backend?
Use eps2pdf. It will make sure your pdf is located at the correct
coordinate origin.

No. There is nothing that
AFAIK, you don't need any of this crap. Just don't put any extension
on the includegraphics, and let latex guess.
At least that works for plain old latex and pdflatex (not via lyx).
Anyone know of a package to display included algorithms that will
break lines automatically?
That's algorithm? Part of the algorithms package?

Why not try the new update to RH7.0 gcc-2.96-69?

ANyone try it? It failed to process either of the two RTFs I tried.
