I am using LyX 1.3.2 on a Linux box under X. Some
of the mathematical symbols are not correctly
displayed on the screen.
For instance, the symbol that represents that some
element belongs to some set (that is, the symbol that
looks like a curvy capital E) comes out as a small 2,

I have installed some TrueType fonts under my
teTeX distribution, and have checked out that I can
make use od them under LyX, but not entirely. Let me
explain.
I have added the following line to my LyX
preamble:
\renewcommand{\rmdefault}{brm}
where brm is the name of my new f
I have made some progress on the issue I
mentioned in my previous message. I have changed my
preamble to read
\usepackage{MyTTFont}
with MyTTFont.sty being as follows:
\ProvidesPackage{MyTTFont}
[2000/05/12 brm font as default rm font]

I am not able to compile lyx 2.2.2
I am on Centos 7 Linux .
