I have installed some TrueType fonts under my
teTeX distribution, and have checked out that I can
make use od them under LyX, but not entirely. Let me
explain.

I have added the following line to my LyX
preamble:

        \renewcommand{\rmdefault}{brm}

where brm is the name of my new font, according to the
font naming conventions laid down by K. Berry. Wit
this setup, when I visualize my document (a book
document) with xdvi, all the text is indeed typeset
with the new font.

However, at least two things are not right: one,
text that I told LyX to typeset in boldface is typeset
the same as the rest of the text. Two, the chapter and
section headers are typeset in the same font size as
the main text.

I am aware that for the second issue it might
just be the case that the font is not available at the
relevant size - although I thought fonts could be
scaled. Feedback, please?

The first issue I plain do not understand, for I
know for a fact that the boldface version is
available, for I can obtain it using LaTeX directly.

My question is, what should I add to the line I
already have in the preamble, in order to obtain the
results I am seeking? Are they actually possible?
After all, I may be totally confused about the font
scaling stuff.

Anyway, feedback will be much appreciated.
