I'm presently coping lots of tex equations into lyx and usually this works
great, but this one drives me nuts:

when I mark text, it rather often decide to skip the old marking and then
starts over at the current text position. Example: Lets say I want to mark
text of this mail from the beginning to this position. So I would move the
cursor to "Hello" and then either use the mouse or + to
