Hello,
I have installed this new alpha and tested a noweb article document.
Out of the box, it does not propose me to convert it to PDFLatex, just
psd2pdf and dvipdfm, both giving an error message about a java program
(htmltolatex).
I have though that Lyx2 was supposed to work out of the box for
Hello!
Although being some time out of high-quality publishing, now I'd like
to decide whether to settle on LyX (seeing it approaching 2.0) or
trying something like ConTeXt...
I've experience with LyX (did last book in 2002.) and would like to
know if some LyX users has/had some experience with C

Thanks a lot Liviu,
This was the missing part. Once I have included this module, I get the
option to compile with pdflatex and it works. I have totally missed

For an unknown reason, Lyx 2 is convinced that my document is in Welsh
instead of French, even if I set the document langu

Thanks again!
LyX 2 seems to rock! I continue my experiments with it.
Best regards,

Sorry for the annoyance. I finally found that you have to add, before
the bibliography, the following snippet:
\def\newblock{}
At least this email will be forever at hand through Google!!! ;)

Dear all, I guess this is a recurrent topic, but I couldn't find a
solution googling around. I have to include some references from my
bibtex file into my beamer presentation, but after the document is
compiled, a "?" appears in place of the reference. I tried compiling
the Latex version of the pre

Hi,
I've been using LyX on Linux for a long time (wrote several papers and my
thesis with it), but this is the first time I've tried to use it on a Mac. I'm
running OS X 10.6.4, and installed LyX 1.6.7 via MacPorts (I'm regretting not
just using the binary, but that's another thread). I have
