Hi All,
I am having no success on including some pstrick code as I always get
errors. If I just put the code in a normal documet and do:
latex ->dvi2pdf then it works.
It seems to me that pdflatex has some issues with pstricks. Is there any
work around for it?
Thanks

Hi,
I have a table with images in a row. First column has paragraph cells
with row descriptions. Unfortunately I can not figure out how to align
the text vertical such that it is at the top of the row. I tried
diffrent settings and also used a parbox enclosing the images, but the

Dear LyX users and developers,

Hi,
I get this problem (still) from both pxfonts and txfonts.
The only workaround I have found is to use \varint rather than plain \int
for integrals.
Cheers

Hello,
I am a newbie to LyX. I searched most manuals & wikis but could find nothing

Hi Bob,
The best way to create specific types of drawings for a LyX document is to use
a program designed for that purpose (like a circuit diagram editor) and then
exporting to an appropriate image format (PDF, PNG, JPEG, etc.). There may be
LaTeX packages that can draw circuit diagrams (I wou

Hello LyXers,
the alternative Windows installer for LyX 1.6.7 is now available.
This installer comes again with an update installer to update existing

You can try xcircuitI use it with LyX with good results.
LTSpice is also pretty good fand can export to EPS, LTSpice is free from
Linear Technology.
It appears that mouse scrolling is broken on the Mac for LyX 1.6.7. This
same problem is present in the alpha versions of 2.0 on the Mac, and it
looks like it slipped through the cracks for this release.
Any chance of a patch being released in the very near future to fix this
serious regression?
Dear all,
on a new installation on a Kubuntu system, import of tex files failes.
Running tex2lyx from console produces the following error message:

Thank you for the answer. I have solved the problem by removing the
beamer package from the MikteX distribution and installing in my local
tex folder the newest version of beamer (3.10). After reconfiguration,
the files are compiled.

Dear LyX users,
since some time it is more and more common to zoom-in or zoom-out the workspace
of an application with Ctrl-plus or Ctrl-minus key-strokes. On a Apple Mac this
would be Cmd-plus or Cmd-minus. Traditionally in LyX the Ctrl-minus keys
produces an hyphenation hint. Therefore we hav

I installed Lyx 1.6.7 on my mac running OSX 10.6.4 and encounter no problems
with mouse scrolling. I have not experimented with Lyx 2.0 as yet.

Sorry all - false alarm. For whatever reason, when I installed 1.6.7, the
default LyX switched to 2.0alpha4 on my system, and I did not notice this.
So it turns out that scrolling and dialogue boxes work fine in 1.6.7.
Again, sorry for the false alarm.
