year. Now, for a paper, I need to use some references that I have in
this bibliography but a problem arises. In some papers that have
colons in the title, I had to substitute them for "\addcolon\addspace"

Hi Liviu,
No, the document has been created of "book" class.
Could you try doing the same on your system?
This might help to understand if it is a problem of my
installation or a general problem on Lyx (Latex)?

I have an English text with many German quotes. Changing always the language
for spell chacking in the lyx settings is very tiresome.
Is there another way to let know cocoAspell that is has to change language
for spell checking? Maybe it can be done with marking the text with the
"language" text
