What's your TeX set-up? In default tetex setup, most of the fonts are
there. To manually install fonts for TeX is quite messy and you
should consult http://www.ctan.org/tex-archive/fonts/utilities/fontinst/

You can use the listings LaTeX package : it has automatic breaking of
long lines, and it is fully integrated in LyX.
