Classes are part of your LaTeX distribution. Most of the available LyX
layouts ship with LyX, but there are some user-contributed ones on the

In my machine (linux, lyx1.3.5) with language english us_international
(or something like that) if, for example, I write in french, the
"accent aigu" (how is it said in english?) is '+a => á, the grave is
`+a => à and so on.

To track the changes of a lyx file, I insert $Rev$ in the text. After
first 'svn ci', $Rev$ is replaced by $Rev: 40 $. However, when I open
and save this file, $Rev: 40 $ is replaced by $Rev:40$ (blank spaces
are removed) which can no longer be recognized by subversion.
