= b if blah2
= c if blah3
I am using the cases enviroment to do this? How can I label these cases
so I can say later something like "Case (1) shows..."?

I am writing a book and would like to use a background picture that
spans two pages. I have been using the "overpic" environment with some sucess.
However, I would like to typeset a lot of text and have so far been using the
minipage environment to place my text above the document.

I get zero defects on Debian Sid running LyX, so my guess is his installation
of textex-extra, available fonts for TeX/LaTeX and LyX are not complete.
