Hi
is there any step-by-step guide to setting up and using preview-latex with lyx

Hi,
I recently installed LyX 1.2.2 and today I recognized that I can't write a CV
anymore because the cv-class is gone. I can't remember that I deleted it and
I can't find it on the net (my OS is debian sid).
I would be grateful for any advice.
Thanks,
Michael.

EPS files seems OK to me -- no paths included. Weird...

Hey, anyone could teach me how to remove myself from this list? I've tried tons of
times but always failed. It looks to me I need to replace my email address in one
of the un-subscribing email address. But I just cannot find what the un-subscribing
email format is.

Hi folks!
I have upgraded from 1.16fix* to 1.2.1 (and then 1.2.2) and recently had
reason to go back and edit some of my old 1.16 files. And I discovered
that the GUI for 1.2.x, in the Layout->Paragraph dialogue, no longer
gives one the ability to indent the whole paragraph! It just has a

Hi All
Well the actual text isn't rolling along that well so I decided to
procrastinate and put some nice images in. I have inserted and image
(eps graph) and the font / line width were too small when place in the
lyx document. I then went and changed the graph and saved it to the same
file na
Is there a way to accomodate things like \thanksref in a layout file? It
is used in elsart.cls, Elsevier's generic paper class. \thanksref is used
like this in latex:
\title{Title\thanksref{label1}}
\thanks[label1]{Thanks to LyX, you don't need to learn latex.}

Steve,
This was something that Herbert produced. While it doesn't implement
everything in the elsart layout, it is pretty close. I haven't tried it
yet with 1.3.0 though.
I haven't had time to polish it, but it should be enough to get on with.

Hi!
I'm quite new to lyx and now use version 1.2.3. Before I startet with an
older version. After upgrading I figured out that lowertitleback doesn't
seem to work correctly. It normally doesn't appear on the second page,
except I put address before. Then it still is'nt low but just under

Does anyone know how to get a display equation containing greek
characters into a box. My attempts with \fbox and \framebox result in
errors although it is possible to frame an equation having just normal
characters.
Many thanks,
