I am dismayed to find that seminar seems to be a class where it is
harder to create a document using LyX. I hope someone can give
me the hint that breaks through this difficulty.
The main difficulty is that
I am using a different caption under a table than in the List of Tables
by inserting an ERT:
\caption[short caption]{long caption}
While the caption works fine, I am having trouble with the label. I
create a label as I normally would ("Insert->Label") and then try to

did anyone happen to convert trebuchet MS succesfully?
It took me some time to convert the fond to a type1 font and let TeX find it
and LyX use it but some letters are boxed out. That meens when the systeem trys
to print/view the letter 'f' I just see a black box.. :(

I want to write my PhD with lyx and therefore I generated a master document
with the appropriate files.
When I use the normal View->DVI or View->PDF command, I get the different file
contents.
When I use View->pdftex (tex2pdf) (I changed the convert command in the
preferences), then I get

emphasize, that you really shouldn't panic and upgrade -- changes
are VERY minuscule. Just for curiosity of the first upgrade of
TeX since 1995.
