Latex 2.09 for our scientific papers.
Would Lyx be useful for us? How can I try it out? We use Windows OS and
Unix platform.

Hi folks,
I have been trying to access www.lyx.org since Monday, but there
seems to be some problem in the way. The site gets contacted but the
"Waiting for reply" takes forever.
Any other sites I try are ok... just lyx.org is behaving strangely.
Is anyone also experiencing that?

I put \usepackage{cite} in the preamble of my thesis. It was working for a
while, and when I loaded up the thesis this morning, it wouldn't compile.
I'm getting an error for each \cite:

just enter the path and file name without a .in or .out extension -- these
will be added for you, I think.
