Hmm...looks like a combination of gcc
To help in solving the RH7 mysteries/nightmares, below is the
combination that I have success with:
Distro: RH7
Kernel: 2.4.0-test9 (with ReiserFS patch)
Gcc:gcc-2.96-69 (from Rawhide)
Glibc: glibc-2.2-9 (from Rawhide)

section? I need to change the space between the bib entries, but do not
change the vertical space in other parts of the document.
In default, there is a line space which I want to ommit.
Thanks in advance for any hel

Now the menus are in english and only very some of the dialog-boxes
(open-file) are in german. Was it the wrong option?
When I launched lyx for the first time and change

I want footnotes in a longtable, but they should appear at the end of the table, not
at the
bottom of the respective pages. This seems not to be covered by any of the examples in
TableExamples.lyx .
Is it possible, or does anybody know a workaround?
Thanks,
Rolf

No. Same result. Perhaps a mixed-up language-file?

First of all: A happy new your to all of you ;-)
Many tnaks to all who have given me answers to my question before! So far I
do have fixed most problems concerning the numbering of paragraphs. But
there are left some problems which -- although studying the ntheorem doc
